Michael Spinks

Michael “THE SPINKS JINX” Spinks, is a former American professional boxer who began his boxing career at the age of 21 in 1977. The previous year, Spinks won a Gold Medal in the Middleweight Division at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games as an amateur.

Equipped with Everlast training gear and gloves, Spinks held the World Championships in two weight classes from 1983 to 1988. The undisputed Light Heavyweight and Lineal Heavyweight champion retired with a professional record of 31-1 with 21 KO's, losing his last fight to Mike Tyson. From a family of boxing legends, Michael Spinks was inducted into the International Boxing Hall Of Fame in 1994.
