Zac Dunn's daily routine

DAILY ROUTINE

4 - 6am - Wake Up

Hit the gym! My morning workout is generally running or boxing in the gym.


7am - Brekkie Time

Drink plenty of water first thing, 1- 2 litres. When I am not cutting weight, I have rolled oat porridge. For a treat on weekends I have sourdough toast, butter, strawberry jam and a cup of coffee.


Morning Activity

When I am leading up to a fight my training consists of sparring 2, 3 times a week, plenty of cardio and weights once a week.


1pm: Lunch Time

I opt for something clean; chicken, broccoli, apple, or an orange. This would be one of my clean ripping-up lunches.


Afternoon Activity

Sparring session. This would be more of a tactical boxing session.


7pm: Dinner Time

I would normally have steak, green beans, apple, or anything home cooked.


9.30pm: Bed Time

I aim to be in bed before 10. I try and get 8 hours a night.

Fight Preparation

Get as fit as you can and move happy. A happy fighter is a dangerous fighter!


Stay motivated

Know why you are doing whatever it is that you do and have something to train towards.


Recovery

My go-to’s are plunge pools, barefoot sand walks, yoga & plenty of stretching. Most importantly, you can’t beat a good 8 hours sleep.
