Jason "The Warrior" Whateley has torn through the Australian domestic scene since turning professional in 2018. Whateley, who represented Australia in the 2016 Olympics and captured a silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, is known for his sensational punching power.
In December 2019 he captured the Australian Cruiserweight title in the first round, with a blistering performance. Standing an imposing 6'5 or 195cm, Whateley's style is patient rather than reckless. He looks to utilise his natural assets of height and reach, before detonating his powerful right hand.
Whateley has his sights set on continuing his march towards the international stage for the remainder of this year.
TITLES: Victorian Cruiserweight Title, Australian Cruiserweight Title.
